Mission statement The Peer Review Journal (PRJ) is a new innovative electronic portal to publicize articles and communications emanating from discoveries, ideas and imagination of individuals or groups seeking to advance life and the planet we live on. The journal has been set up to overcome what the editors believe is the increasing difficulty to publicize and view peer review articles. With excessively long publication date from time of article submission to restricted access to viewing of full publications, the editors have set up the PRJ to ensure 30-day publication from submission time and unrestricted free access to all articles. Open access publication of the tiny steps of mankind advancement should be not be restricted to closed societies and money availability, as the editorial board believe this is completely contrary to the concept of peer review publication.
Information To speed up the process of the publication of ideas, techniques and discoveries the journal has been set up to ease the process of publication by relying on firstly the need for an author to build a reputation by publishing high quality relevant articles for open access reviewing. This means that all articles will be peer reviewed and selected for publication on the basis of impact, relevance, proper English format, and scientific rigor, but will equally facilitate publicationas its foremost objective. Communications will be accepted from a wide range of fields from medical / surgery including clinical ones, engineering, sciences and humanities. The journal will be freely accessible to anybody and will not be affiliated to any society or organization. The journal will remain independent of any external influence, so as to assist rapid unhindered publication but still maintain high standards. Each author will make a claim and will be expected to prove that claim and furthermore will make a declaration of reputation as part of the process. Once accepted by the reviewers the article or communication will be published on the website were readers will be encouraged to comment and reply to articles subject to editorial scrutiny. This will create a dynamic environment to encourage open discussion on the ideas and methods within the article. All articles will aim to be published within 30 working days, as long as there is no major revision needed, in which case the publication time may be longer. For this reason adherence to the recommended format is essential. The editors or sub editors will choose the reviewer, however if the author specifically requests a certain reviewer then the publication time of 30 days may not be guaranteed. The Peer Review Journal will own the copyright of all publications in thePRJ.com and authors will be required to assign copyright. Apart from the full measures of copyright protection for an electronic publication, all subject matter will be separately copyrighted with an independent copyright legal bureau at periodic times, and this fee is included in the processing fee. Additionally the PRJ.com will publish in hard copy the journal contents on a regular basis to further enforce the copyright issue. Management of Journal The board of directors is composed of experienced experts in various fields with extensive peer review publication experience. All members of the editorial board either Doctors of Philosophy in various fields or recognized peers in their subject. As the journal is not affiliated to any society or organization there will be a small fee for processing submissions to cover running costs, currently €150. The journal is run as a non profit organization. The board of directors has chosen to remain anonymous for the sake of avoiding external influence and to avoid contact with regard to the journal outside of this website.
